"Rendezvous With Rama"

Rumor has it that Ridley Scott is planning a Bladerunner sequel! Pure Awesome. While the story is a departure from the original, Harrison Ford is being courted for a cameo...of course, the real question is: Will Vangelis do the score??? (I hope he does; my own album, Earth and Exile, is my own sequel. That said, should it fall through, I'm ready to go, Mr. Scott...)

What's that? Vangelis is on board? Great! So, until then, I shall turn my attentions to another long-awaited project, Arthur C. Clarke's Rendezvous With Rama. Morgan Freeman has been pushing for this one, though it's been stuck in development hell. Here's hoping,  but for now, we'll have to continue with the printed word and our imaginations. Still, doesn't mean we can't have a soundtrack to go with them...here's the Spaceplayer "theme for an imaginary soundtrack" to Rendezvous With Rama:
